| The Crossing has great pleasure in directing you to another
cultural organisation working hard to bring a different genre of performance to
Worksop & District. Acorn Community Theatre opened in November '06 and is
located on Queen Street, immediately behind The Crossing. Here, through sheer
enthusiasm and hard work, an excellent 200-seat theatre has been established
with an artistic programme comprising a mix of amateur dance, drama and musical
theatre and professional touring theatre. The Crossing is pleased to be
associated with Acorn and together the two adjacent performance venues are
building a reputation as 'Worksop's Cultural Quarter'! |
